Building/Design Study
A typical Design Assessment for a client constructing or upgrading a residential building may include the following steps
Visit the site and/or inspect the architects drawings, checking for compliance with the Document E Regulations, in terms of sound insulation between rooms.
Using predictive computer modelling check that the separating partitions will comply with the Regulations (and pass the sound tests). Make recommendations if we think they will not.
Document all of this is in a report which can be submitted to the Building Inspector and understood by your builder who will carry out the recommendations.
