Sound Insulation Testing

In order to ensure that residents of dwellings are not subjected to excessive noise levels from their neighbours, many newly built and converted residential properties must comply with The Building Regulations (Amended 2010) Approved Document E – Resistance to the passage of sound. These Regulations prescribe sound testing of the separating party walls and floors.

We are experienced, accredited sound insulation testers and are registered under The Association of Noise Consultants scheme as a testing organisation. This ensures the certification complies with the requiremenets of the Building Regulations, enabling Building Control to sign off pre-completed dwellings.

We are also able to offer our clients a Design Study Service to help ensure that your build complies with the Regulations and the risk of failure is reduced to a minimum.
